Q

Explain in detail how you use an eyepiece graticule.

A
  1. Place a graticule in the eye piece of the microscope.
  2. Place the stage micrometer slide onto the stage.
  3. Line up the eye-piece graticule and the stage micrometer.
  4. Look along the scales until you see two points that match up.
  5. Divide the graticule value by the stage micrometer value.
  6. Divide your answer by 10 micrometers.
This tells you what one until on the eyepiece graticule is.
