A
Exercises where the upper body is fixed. Pushups, plank, waterski seat, and waterski thigh and knee dancing facing the bar.

What are the 3 rules about giving basic and bear hug tucks in (standing seat)?
A
- Don’t give a tuck to a student whose thigh is behind her knee in standing seat. Capture her leg first to align her thigh and knee under her hip, then give her a basic.
- Always adjust a student’s leg before giving them a basic or bear hug. Look for feet in proper alignment and knee soften.
- Ohly use knee or foot to draw a working leg farther back AFTER performing a tuck. Never tuck hips forward and press leg back simultaneously.
