Treatment:

A
  1. Topically disinfect area
  2. Inject limb separately w/stronger solution
  3. Treat affected area hypodermically
  4. Apply surface compress of cavity fluid or other chemical & wrap in plastic
  5. wrap in plastic w/embalming powder

A
Moist, dark, rotten, putrid tissues
Microbial growth - causes distention & foul odour
No line of demarcation
Build up of toxins, metabolic wastes
Bedsores/ulcers
