A

Verify the navigation database will be current for the duration of the flight

Enter route

Enter ADSB designation from the dispatch release into the ACT RTE Flight ID in the FMS

Set Transponder Code

Begin PERF INIT (up to, but not including ZFW)

Set/Verify DEP Limit page i.e. standard/non-standard speeds and acceleration altitude

Select anticipated runway conditions in ACARS

Set Guidance Panel: Runway heading, Altitude, Source, Course, and SPEED knob to FMS

Complete EFB set up (2)

Departure WANT Briefing: (1) • Brief Autobrake setting

Engine Start Sequence

A

“STARTING ENGINE 1 (2)”

Turn the START / STOP selector to START momentarily (2 sec) and back to RUN, keeping the hand on the START / STOP selector to abort the engine start, when necessary

Start Clock

Monitor IGN A (B) at 7% N2, fuel flow at approximately 20% N2

Ensure N2 and N1 accelerate normally and positive oil pressure is indicated

Verify the annunciation IGN A (B) goes out at approximately 50% N2 ENGINE START SEQUENCE “START ENGINE 1 (2)”

Verify the engine stabilizes at idle and at the correct N1 target (1)(2)
