A

O: Transverse processes of all lumbar vertebrae, bodies of 12th thoracic and all lumbar vertebrae, and intervertebral disc above all the lumbar vertebrae
I: lesser trochanter of the femur
N: By the anterior rami of L1, L2, L3
A: flexion of the hip & flexion of the trunk

A

O: upper 2/3rds of iliac fossa of the innominate bone, ala of sacrum
I: Lesser trochanter of the femur
N: Femoral nerve L2, L3
A: Flexion of the hip

O: Superior ramus of the pubis, illiopubic eminence and pubic tubercle of the innominate bone
I: Pectineal line on the femur

A

O: Anterior inferior iliac spine (AIIS) of the innominate bone and reflected head above the acetabulum
I: upper border of the patella
N: femoral nerve L2, L3, L4
A: Flexion of the hip and extension of the knee

A

O: anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS) of the innominate bone
I: medial side of the body of the tibia, with gracilis and semitendinosus
N: Femoral nerve L2, L3
A: flexion of the hip & knee, lateral rotation and abduction of the thigh, and medial rotation of the tibia on the femur.

Tensor Fascia Lata

A

O: Anterior 1/3 of the outer lip of the iliac crest of the innominate (hip) bone
I: Blends into the iliotibial tract, which in turn inserts into the lateral aspect of the patella tendon/retinaculum
N: superior gluteal nerve L4, L5
A: Flexion, abduction and medial rotation of the hip. Extension of the knee
