O: Ischial tuberosity of the innominate (hip) bone
I: Medial surface of medial condyle of tibia
N: Sciatic nerve L5, S1, S2
A: extension of the hip and flexion of the knee
Gluteus Maximus
O: Gluteal surface of the ilium, iliac crest of the innominate (hip) bone, coccyx, sacrum and sacrotuberous ligament
I: Gluteal tuberosity of the femur (1/4), (3/4) from the iliotibial tract
N: inferior gluteal nerve L5, S1, S2.
A: Extension of the hip, extension of the knee - through the iliotibial tract
Semimembranosus (Hamstrings)

A: Extension of the hip and flexion of the knee
Biceps Femoris (Hamstrings)

N: Sciatic nerve L5, S1, S2
