What is biomass?
The mass of living material, such as the mass of a living organism

An organism that causes decay of dead material, such as many fungi and bacteria.

An animal that eats plants (also a herbivore)

An organism that produces its own food, such as plants using light energy in photosynthesis to produce glucose.

A diagram that shows the biomass in different trophic levels of a food chain, always a pyramid shape.
