Q

Minimum pavement width for a 180° turn?

A

22.8m for A320.

This is based on the offset between the outboard main gear and the nose gear.

So, YES you can turn on a 30m wide runway. However, the following considerations must be made:
- slow continuous turning
- symmetrical thrust
- no differential braking
- dry surface.
