-they are not as decorative or economical
-they need sewing on by hand

the end of the webbing straps which are then sewn onto the product

what is the advantage of clips?
they are a quick release fastening
what are buckles used for?

what is the disadvantage of buckle slides?
they are not secure fastenings and the two slides can slip out of alignment
