- fluids

What is given to help with hypoglycemia?
- conscious: 15 g carbs
- unconscious: IV D5 or IM glucagon

When should the doctor be called with T1D?
- BG > 240
- ketones in urine
- neuro changes (disoriented, confused)

- high fat

- artificial sweeteners
- skipping meals
