A
  • Used to create an encrypted tunnel between your system and the office network. Completely safe.
  • Your laptop communicates over an encrypted tunnel over the internet to a VPN concentrator
  • This allows you to communicate with a private network such as a corporate office which would not be possible without a VPN connection
  • The VPN concentrator takes the web traffic/packets and encrypts them before sending the traffic to the Corporate office.
