A

androgens or androgen-derived Steroids
Steroids (androgen = any natural or synthetic steroid hormone that regulates the development and maintenance of male characteristics)

Besides testosterone, anastrazole and finasteride, which are used against cancer, are also steroids. Why?

A

Anastrazole: (anti-oestrogen: inhibits testosterone conversion) > doping
Finasteride: used against prostate cancer > doping (inhibits conversion of testosterone)
