ECG Flashcards
Atrial fibrillation features
Tachycardia >150
Irregular irregular
No P waves
>100 is RVR
Atrial flutter features
> 300
Saw tooth or inverted p waves in inferior leads
2:1 P to QRS ratio
Narrow QRS complex
First degree AV block
Prolonged PR but QRS for every P wave
Second degree AV block
Mobitz I: progressive longer PR interval until skipped QRS
Mobitz II: constant PR interval until skipped QRS
Third degree AV block
No association between P and QRS
More P than QRS
Ventricular Tachy
Regular
Broad complex
Monomorphic QRS (unless torsades)
Ventricular fibrillation
No clear P or QRS
Chaotic uncoordinated electrical activity
Amplitude decrease with longer duration until eventual asystole
