What is the purpose of a sliding bevel tool
To measure and copy specific angles - can be changed and fixed
What are the tree types of chisel
Bevel- for rough chopping
Firmer- has strong blades to remove large pieces of wood
Paring- for shaving thin slices of wood
What is the general purpose of a chisel?
Used in shaping wood by cutting it with a sharp blade and hammer

Welding

Twist drill - for small holes
Flat bit - for medium sized holes

Where granular plastic is heated and injected into a mould
What is a rebate
A step shaped recess cut along the edge or into the face of a piece of wood

A long narrow cut in a hard material
What are the two causes of webbing
The moulds are two close together
The moulds are too high

It becomes more brittle but also more strong

An electrochemical process which converts a metal surface to a metal oxide which is stronger and can be dyed
