A

The #1 HYD pump has failed and the BACKUP pump has not come on.

Move the BACKUP pump switch to ON.

If unsuccesful:

  • Airspeed is limited to 150 KIAS VMC (140 KIAS IMC).
  • Preform roll on landing above 40 KIAS.
  • Bank angle is limited to 30 degrees.

A

Leak in the #1 HYD system/ #1 PRI Servo, the pilot must move the SVO off switch to 1st STG.

Otherwise the BACKUP pump will loose all pressure.

CAUTION:
Whenever the No. 1 AC generator is inoperative (failed or not on line) and the BACKUP PUMP PWR circuit breaker is out for any reason, AC electrical power must be shut off before resetting BACKUP PUMP PWR circuit breaker. Otherwise, it is possible to damagethe current limiter.
