Given the following cruise conditions what is the Critical Torque and explain how is it calculated?

Temp 40 degrees
PA 2000’
ACFT GW 20,000 lbs
CRUISE IAS 120 KIAS

A

Assuming low ETF .85, critical TRQ is 50%

Using cruise chart (7A-55)
Intercept 120 KIAS with .85 parallell line to SE 2.5 min, and go straight down to read % TRQ.
