Explain ‘stack’
Shelflike starched box forms fastened to a wall. 12 identical units. Spaces between are same size as blocks. Made from galvanised iron and panted with green lacquer paint. Constructed by a company. No visual reference to another artwork or object of feelings. It is installed from the floor to the ceiling and projects it of the wall
What does he want the attention to be placed on in ‘stack’
Form, volume, interval, space and colour
What else does he do that emphasises the impersonality
Doesn’t give artworks titles
What does stack mean
Gravity: boxes come out of the wall, do not rest on each other. Attention is drawn to the physical experience of the viewer. 3d object and environment.
