general description of DIzziness
Dizziness is a symptom characterized by vertigo and blurred vision. Mild dizziness may be relieved instantly closing the eyes, while in severe cases the patient may feel body movement with a rotating sensation like sitting in a sailing boat or moving car that makes the patient unable to stand steadily. It may accompanied by nausea, vomiting or sweating.
Causes of Dizziness
- hyperactivity of liver yang
- deficiency of qi and blood
- obstruction of phlegm and dampness

Points Manifestation Tongue Pulse Tx Principle

Manifestations: Dizziness, distending pain in the head, tinnitus; irritability, flushed face, bitter taste in the mouth;
Tongue: red with thin yellow coating
Pulse: Wiry
Treatment principle: Calm the liver, subdue liver yang

Manifestations: Dizziness aggravated by overstrain, pale complexion, palpitation, insomnia, lusterless lips and nails, poor appetite, shortness of breath and unwillingness to speak
Tongue: pale tongue
Pulse: thready and weak pulse.
Treatment principle: strengthen the spleen and stomach, reinforce the qi and blood.
