What are the benefits of digital marketing
More targeted advertising (E.g. better access to personal details, can use analytics to measure how well their adverts are performing).
Reduce the cost of advertising (By knowing what consumers are interested in, it allows you to target more effectively, and then you can reduce the cost with better effects)
Live marketing - If something goes wrong in the company, by utilising the internet, you can make the customers aware, and put them at ease. - Companies can also see what people think of their products live, utilising the internet.
Easier to judge the effectiveness of advertising - click through rate
Fewer geographical constraints (not limited to certain types of marketing)
To what extent should businesses continue with digital marketing:
Corporate objectives - do the company want to stay traditional (if so then they won’t use digital marketing)
