50-70% of cases are caused by Alzahimers disease, 20-30% by multi infants dementia

Q. What will you find in autopsy for CJD ptn?
Spongiform change in the grey matter is the pathological hallmark of this disease
At autopsy the Cerebellum appears atrophic
A. What’s the usual prescribed medication in case of Alzheimer’s dementia ?
cholinesterase inhibitor as ( donepezil, rivastigmine ) is the standard medication that works for both vascular and Alzheimer dementia. And it can be given at any stage of the disease, it also can delay the need for nursing homes by a year or more
