A
- Acute onset
- Fluctuating course
- Impaired attention
- Altered level of consciousness- abnormal levels of arousal (sometimes hypervigilant sometimes the opposite)
- Memory deficits
- Disorientation: early sign is cant track time
- Disorganized thoughts
- Perceptual disturbances: most often vision and hearing
- Delusions
- Language disturbance
- Psychomotor disturbance
- Sleep disturbance
