Inhibits release of GnRH, low FSH, no LH surge
Also creates thick cervical mucus and hostile endometrium
What are long-acting contraceptives?
Contraceptive implants, IUDs
What is plan B?
High dose progestin, inhibits natural progesterone and estrogen production and ovulation
