A
- Group of inherited conditions where adrenal gland is larger than usual
- Body is missing enzyme ( 21 hydroxylase) which stimulates the larger adrenal glands to release cortisol

Symptoms
A
- Salt wasting ( lethargy/vomitting, diarrhoea)
- Rapid growth/ precocious puberty
- Absent menstruation
- Prostatic enlargement/Cancer

Pathophys
A
- Disorder of 21 hydroxylase
- Not enough aldosterone/cortisol release
- Feedback
- Excess testosterone produced
- XX over virilisation, more masculine characteristics
