negotation = work it out between them
Mediation and conciliation = The parties agree on
an independent, third-party neutral system to
facilitate discussions between them, with the goal
of reaching a settlement
Expert determination: The parties agreed by a
contract that a third party will make a binding
decision on them
adjudication = Construction act 1996 - request an adjudicator within seven days of serving notice - 28 days
arbitration = contract must contain a written agreement - formal binding
Litigation = refer to court
Dispute boards = between avoidance and reswolution - familar with the project - regular site visits and familar with the documentation - non binding reconedations -Disupte adjudication boards = binding
