You negotiated over price on a DVSA RAAC propping job. How did you prepare for that negotiation?

so following the contractors submittal of the AFP, i reviewed it against the works completed to date, The additional site, hadn’t been undertaken nor was it due to undertaken that month. Therefore i explained to the contractor as in accordance with the i ensure clause 50, i can only certify payment for the price for work done to date, plus other amounts to be paid to the contractor (advance payments ??) d i had the relevant information in including evidence.
