Disabilities - Disabilities such as being blind or deaf affect the way someone may interpret communication as they won’t be able to see you or hear what you’re saying.
Reliabilities of technology - If technology is faulty, then we can’t use it to communicate.
Different languages - If people are speaking different languages when communicating, they won’t be able to exchange information.
Different timezones - As there are different timezones, people have to make sure they communicate at appropiate times e.g. when both people are awake.
