What are the hold axis and direction of turn of the LAM hold?
264 degrees LH
Holding by S26 at LAM at which levels must they co-ordinate with S12/13?
FL250-300
The CLN hold is not notified in the UK AIP as an established hold, but if used what is the direction of turn, and holding at which levels must be co-ordinated with S26 before being undertaken?
Right hand turns.
The holding area is outside S26 airspace, but the hold protected area at FL250-300 infringes S26, so must be co-ordinated first before holding takes place at these levels.
Whenever holding at CLN is necessary, who does the S12P notify, and who else gets subsequently notified?
S12P to inform GS East.
GS East informs the S13P and S14P, then Swanwick (Mil) and S26 (also S2 if appropriate).
Whenever holding at LOGAN is necessary, who does the S13P notify, and who else gets subsequently notified?
S13P to inform GS East.
GS East informs the S12P and S14P, then Swanwick (Mil) and S26 (also S2 if appropriate).

263 degrees LH; FL180-240
If LAM u/s: 277 degrees LH
At what levels are the LOGAN and BRASO holds separated?
Up to and including FL240
Which standing agreement is cancelled when holding commences at BRASO?
FL240 for LL/WU/Solent Group/TK/Farnborough Group/Brize Group inbounds.
Traffic is still RFD on contact with TC SABER.
Which standing agreement may CLN consider suspending when holding at BRASO commences?
FL220 level ODROB/BLIXY/SUNUP for KK inbounds
When holding at BRASO and TC East wish to co-ordinate an LL inbound at a level above FL250, what must they consider before doing so?
They must only co-ordinate LL inbounds above FL250 if they anticipate being able to descend the aircraft below FL250 before BRASO, as it is not acceptable for LL inbounds to hold at BRASO above FL240. If in exceptional circumstances TC East have aircraft holding above FL240 at BRASO they must co-ordinate with S13 + S26.

What is the primary reason for holding at LAPRA?
245 degrees RH - FL150-210
If BPK u/s: 243 degrees RH
The LAPRA hold is an overspill from the ABBOT hold.
Which standing agreements should be/are suspended if holding commences at LOGAN?
S14 to S13 standing agreement for Amsterdam and Brussels outbounds SHOULD be suspended.
S10 to S14/13 standing agreements ARE to be cancelled.
What levels are recommended not to be used during LOGAN holding?
FL220 - to be able to facilitate ABBOT/TC inbounds into TC JACKO
FL260/FL270 - to facilitate any medium level overflights or Amsterdam/Brussels outbounds
