A

Press the GEAR/ Fire button.
If the light doesn’t illuminate the bulb has gone

Could be that instrument lights are turned on as this automatically dims the lights

FMS setup

A

1) MFD - press MAP
- Traffic - On
- Topo (off for IR) on for VFR
- terrain off
- airways off
- storm scope on
Press back
Set declutter Dcltr - 1

2) set range to 150 for departure
Set orientation (menu - map ) to track up 
Track vector should be off 

3) select AUX page 3 - GPS status
- check gps1 active
- 6 more satellites are visible and acquired by gps 1
- EPU (estimated position uncertainty) less than 0.3nm
- HDOP (horizontal dilution of precision) less than 5
- 3D Nav solution available
- LNAV only- check destination “compute RAIM”
