Amnion

Fallopian tube
Of a pair of ducts through which ovum travels to the uterus; aka an oviduct
Fertilization
Union of sperm cell and ovum from which embryo develops
Fimbriae
Finger or fringe-like projections at end of Fallopian tubes
Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
Secreted by pituitary gland got stimulate maturation of egg cell (ovum)

Ovary
One of a pair of female organs (gonads) on each side of pelvis. Ovaries are almond-shaped, about size of large walnuts, and produce egg cells (ova) and hormones

Mature egg cell (female gamete). Ova develop from immature egg cells called oocytes

Hormone produced by corpus luteum in ovary and placenta of pregnant women
Uterus (womb)
Hollow, pear-shaped muscular female organ in which embryo and fetus develop, and from which menstruation occurs. Upper portion is fundus; middle portion is corpus; lowermost, neck-like portion is cervix
Vagina
Muscular, mucosa-lined canal extending from uterus to exterior of body
Vulva
External female genitalia; included labia, hymen, clitoris, and vaginal orifice
