define the term attitude

Generally the effective evaluation of good versus that is connected too a behavioral tendency To either approach or avoid. In other words attitudes alerts us to rewarding objects we should approach and too costly or punishing objects we should avoid

implicit attitude measure
what is likert scale
A numerical scale used to assess attitudes; includes a set of possible answers with labeled anchors on each extreme
What is response latency
The amount of time it takes to respond to a stimulus such as an attitude question
What is implicit attitude measure
In indirect measure of attitudes that does not involve a self repot
what does implicit measure allow researchers to do
Top into non-conscious attitudes or people immediate evaluative reactions it may not be aware of or that may conflict with their consciously endorsed attitudes
Things such as increased heart rate and sweaty palms associated with fear can capture peoples attitudes
