    b. Hyaline cartilage: embryonic skeleton, ends of long bones, trachea, nose, costal cartilage
    c. Elastic cartilage: ear

  1. Hard connective tissue arranged in osteons
  2. Scattered cells: osteoblasts, osteoclasts, osteocytes. Cells are located in lacunae. They connect with Haversian canal via canaliculi

  4. Location: compact bone
