- MOA: Alpha 2 ; vasodilation to decrease blood pressure
- Adverse Effects: bradycardia w/ reflex tachycardia, postural hypotension, dizziness and sexual dysfunction
- Contraindication: drug allergy & heart failure

Captopril (ACE)
A
- MOA: inhibits angiotensin 1 to convert angiotensin 2
- Adverse effects: dizziness, fatigue, headache, non productive cough
- Contraindications: drug allergy, angioedema, lactation women
- Indication: Hypertension and to reduce cardiovascular disease

Hydralzine (Vasodilator)

- MOA: causes peripheral vasodilation
- Adverse effects: dizziness, headache, tachycardia, dyspnea
- Contraindications: drug allergy, hypotension, head injury, and MI

Losartan (Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker)

- MOA: block the binding of AII to type 1 AII receptors
- Adverse effects: chest pain, fatigue, hypoglycaemia
- Contraindications: drug allergy, pregnancy, and lactation
