HRM (Definition)

A
  1. HRM is an approach to employment management which seeks to achieve competitive advantage through the strategic deployment of a highly committed and capable workforce.
  2. A philosophy of people management based on the belief that human resources are uniquely important to sustained business success. An organization gains competitive advantage by using its people effectivley, drawing on their expertise and ingenuity to meet clearly defined objectives. HRM is aimed at recruiting capable, flexible and committed people, managing and rewarding their performance and developing key competencies.

  1. QUALITY - Qualifikationsmaßnahmen werden als “investment” und nicht als “costs” gesehen.
  2. COMMITMENT - Der Mitarbeiter soll direkt durch entsprechende Maßnahmen in das Unternehmen eingebunden werden.
  3. INTEGRATION - Personalpoltik muss in sich konsistent sein.
  4. FLEXIBILITY - Personalpoltik soll in strategischer Absicht auf die Unternehmensziele bezogen sein.
  5. STRATEGIC - Strategische, pro-aktive und langfristige Ausrichtung.
