Helping people for unselfish reasons. In some cases because of emphaty. When we cannot escape the situation, characteristics of victim, enlightment effect, being in good mood, exposure to role models who help others are influencing the helping.

Individual, gender cultural differences on aggression
impulsivity, Males engage more physical aggression females engage more relational aggression. China and Japanese less likely to be aggressive and culture of honor increases aggression
