Electromagnet
Device used to measure amperes of a current.
Ammeter
Device used to measure voltage across a circuit.
Voltmeter
A device that uses a current carrying coil focused to rotate in a magnetic field to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy.
Electric Motor
The creation of voltage when a magnetic field changes with time.
Electromagnetic Induction
The induced voltage in a coil is proportional to the number of loops multiplied by the rate at which the magnetic field changes within those loops.
Faraday’s Law
Mechanical energy is changed to electrical energy.
Generator
Similar to electric forces. Like poles repel each other, opposite poles attract.
