Heterosexism

The ideas taught to us about what is appropriate sexual behavior for a person of our gender.
Homophobia
The fear and hatred of gays and lesbians.
Social construction perspective
A theoretical perspective that explains identity in society is created and learned within a cultural, social, and historical context.
Sexual Identity
The definition of oneself that is formed around one’s sexual relationships.
