Response controlled by the nervous and endocrine systems

Autoregulation (intrinsic)
A
Automatic response in a cell, tissue, or organ to some environmental change

Negative feedback
A
Response to receptor negates the stimulus, bringing body back to homeostasis. The normal range is achieved.

Positive Feedback
A
Response of the effector increases the change of the stimulus. Body is moved away from homeostasis. Normal range is lost. Used to speed up processes (i.e. blood clotting).
