Small Intestine: forehead
Fire
The energies of spleen (yin) and stomach (yang) and of lymph circulation.
Blemishes, toxicity acne, psoriasis, enlarged pores; heavy-looking hair, pimples on scalp; lymph circulation problems.
Spleen: bridge of nose and sides above the nostrils
Stomach: (extension of the spleen area): over the cheekbones, on both sides; also the frontal part of the neck, below the jaw and between the large intestine areas.
Earth
The energies of lungs (yin) to move vital energy throughout the body and large intestine (yang).
Dry, dull, lifeless skin; dry scalp and brittle hair; rashes, eczema.
Lungs: cheeks extended from the jawbone to the ears, on both sides Large Intestine (extension of the lung area): down the sides of the neck, on both sides
Metal
The energies of kidney (yin) and bladder (yang) and of water movement.
Problems with sweating; dehydration, lack of tone, wrinkles; scalp lacking tone; limp hair with no volume; and water retention.
Kidney: lower part of the circle around the eyes
Bladder: upper part of the circle around the eyes, as well as the hairline, above the forehead
Water
The energies of liver (yin) and gallbladder (yang) and of overall vital energy circulation.
Oily skin, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation, oily scalp and hair; issues of vital-energy circulation.
Liver: between the eyebrows
Gallbladder: temple areas
