What is multiplexing?
Multiplexing is a technique used to combine and send mulitple signals over a single medium.
What is CDMA?
When multiple people could communicate over the network, but when sending the information it would use a particular code. Each call used a different code to communicate.
What new features did 3G allow for?
GPS, mobile television(streaming), video on demand.
What is LTE?
Long Term Evolution is a convergence of GSM and CDMA. Its based on GSM and EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evoltuion). LTE supports a download rate of 150 mbits/s
What is PRL?
Preferred Roaming List is an update that allows your phone to understand where the best towers are. this can be connected over the air (OTA).
