A

• Grassland has been changed into desert, forcing people to migrate and put pressure on the land to which they relocate.
• The soil is no longer fertile and is unable to support agriculture. This results in crop failure and the death of millions of animals due to the lack of food and water.
• Famine has forced millions of people to live in refugee camps, where they struggle to survive.
