A

-Produces qualitative data= Provides rich detailed insights that May shed light on very unusual forms of behaviour
-High ecological validity

Limitations of case studies

A

-lacks generalisability= case studies use an ideographic approach= We Cannot apply the findings to Wider society
-The information that makes it into the final report is based on the subjective selection of the researches= the findings may not be a true reflection=low validity
