A

A

That which produces something that is of its own type as its specific result.

Whatever is a cause of similar outcome is necessarily a substantial cause, but whatever is a substantial cause is not necessarily a cause of similar outcome.

A

That which involves afflictions, is present in all three realms, and obstructs the attainment of liberation.

Only three nonvirtuous afflictions of mind, not body and speech.

Whatever is an omnipresent cause is necessarily an enabling cause, but whatever is an enabling cause is not necessarily an omnipresent cause.

A

A phenomenon that itself is either the same as its specific cause or accords with it in its aspect of appearance.

A

Equivalent: reality of cessation, cessation through detailed analysis, result of separation

Results of Separation are imputed results. They are the complete relinquishment or exhaustion of kleshas.

Whatever is a cessation always result is necessarily not a result, because whatever is a result of separation is necessarily a permanent phenomenon.
