Connate and Imputed

  1. fixation on self of persons kleśāvaraṇa (skandha fixation, I, mine)
  2. fixation on self of phenomena jñeyāvaraṇa (takes objects as real, knowledge obscuration)

Three Characteristics of Ignorance:

  1. A cognition directedtowards it’s object
  2. The object is extremely unclear
  3. The continuum of mind is extremely unpacified or agitated
