Ignorance
A mental event that observes its own objects; it is the opposite of awareness and wisdom, and it is a condition for formation.
Ultimately, confusion about true nature of phenomena. Failing to see reality, the three marks of existence: impermanence, identitylessness, dissatisfaction.
Conventionally, not seeing interdependent origination, and karmaphala.
Afflicted obscuration/distorting of suchness giving impression of I, like a whirling back-eddy.

Mental Formation
A contaminated karma that propels one into subsequent existences, and it is a condition for consciousness.

Consciousness
That which holds karmic habitual tendencies and leads one to a place of birth that accords with the seeds planted.

Names and Form
नाम रूप nāma rūpa
That which arise due to the condition of consciousness and are established in the second moment of conception.
A boatman carrying passengers in his boat
Six Āyatanas
That which arise due to the conditions of name and firm and are the aggregates that come out first due to the ripening of name and form.

Contact
That which arises due to the conditions of the six āyatanas and distinguishes objects through the coming together of object, faculty and consciousness (dhātus)

Feeling
A mental event that experiences a completely ripened result due to the condition of contact.

Craving
तृय्णा tṛṣṇa སྲེད་པ་ sred pa
That which arises due to the condition of feelings and is a particular form of desire associated with pleasant, unpleasant and neutral feelings.

Grasping
उपादान upādāna ལེན་པ་ len pa
That which arises due to the condition of craving and is an ad;etc of desire that as;ire’s you seek out the causes of pleasant or unpleasant feelings.

Becoming
भव bhava
That which arises due to the two conditions of craving and grasping and is the karma that produces subsequent existences, or the mental event that newly accumulates projecting karma.

Birth
जाति jāti
The stage during which the skandhas are gradually developed externally subsequent to entering the womb of the mother. Alternatively, birth is that which comes about due to the power of becoming meeting with the condition of consciousness.

Aging
जरा मरण jarā-maraṇa
The full maturation or ripening of the skandhas, and death is the cessation or disintegration of the continuum of those skandhas.
A man carrying a corpse on his back, on his way to the charnel grounds.
