Brady arrhythmia Flashcards
path
increased vagus n activity, fibrosis/scarring, lyme, meds
sinus causes of Brady (2)
sinus brade, sinus pause
sinus brady
physiologic/asymptomatic
sinus pause
sinus node fails, AV or Vent fives escape rhythm
av escape
no P wave, narrow QRS
ventricle escape
no p wave, wide QRS, <40bpm
types of AV block
1,2,3 degree
1st degree AV block
not actual block, PR>.2 sec, can be physio, no treatment
2nd degree AV block
non conducting p waves. 2 types (mobitz 1 or Mobil 2)
mobitz 1
non conducting p wave, progressive PR interval without p wave
mobitz 2
non conductive p wave, non progressive
are 2nd degree blocks path?
mobitz 1 not always, mobitz 2ALWAYS
3 degree block
complete, disassociation between atrium and ventricle
