Plasma is a yellow liquid and a unique blood tissue.

Red blood cells pick up oxygen from the air in your lungs and carry it to the cells where needed.

White blood cells are bigger than red and protect the body from harmful bacteria.

Platelets protect the body from wounds and help the blood to clot so that we don’t bleed to death.
