intraperitoneal injury, penetrating injury, inadequate drainage or clots in urine, bladder neck injury, rectal or vaginal injury, open pelvic fracture, pelvic fracture requiring open reduction/fixation, patients undergoing laparotomy for other reasons and bone fragments projecting into bladder
