1. Olfactory
sense of smell
location: longest white part, top (28)
- Optic
vision
loc: 2 white dots below olfactory (30)
- Oculomotor
muscles of the eye
loc: comes off the top of the cerebellum, small white dots
- Trochlear
muscles of the eye
loc: thin white line next to cerebellum and temporal lobe (near 33)
- Trigeminal
sensory nerve of face
loc: white dot on the top of the raised/smooth part of cerebellum (34)
- Abducens
muscles of the eye
loc: most medial white line coming off briainstem (35)
- Facial
facial expression, lacrimal & salivary glands, taste
loc: middle white line also coming off brainstem (36)
- Vestibulocochlear
equilibrium and hearing
loc: most lateral white line also coming off brainstem (37)
- Glossopharyngeal
senses in the back of the mouth (throat and tongue)

breathing heart rate
