Contract and relax for movement.
What is glandular tissue?
Tissue which produces substances such as enzymes and hormones.
What is epithelial tissue?
Tissue which covers some parts of the body.

Muscular tissue.

What does the muscular tissue do in the stomach?
Churns up food.
What does glandular tissue do in the stomach?
Produces digestive juices.
What does epithelial tissues do in the stomach?
Cover outside and inside of the stomach.

Absorbs water.
Produces faeces.
What does the small intestine do?
Digest and absorbs soluble food.
What does the pancreas and salivary glands do?
Produce digestive juices.
