Q

R. and L. Lateral Cords

A

lateral to the axillary artery, splits into the musculocutaneous nerve(innervates coracobrachialis) and the median nerve.

16
Q

R. and L. Median Nerves

A

branch off of both the medial and lateral cords. Runs down the middle portion of the arm through the carpal tunnel. Innervates the lateral palm.

17
Q

R. and L. Musculocutaneous nerves

A

Branch off of the lateral cord of the brachial plexus. Innervates the coracobrachialis.

18
Q

R. and L. medial cutaneous nerves

A

Small, thin nerve branching off of the medial cord. Innervates the sensation of the medial aspect of the arm.

19
Q

R. and L. Posterior Cords

A

Splits into the radial nerve (runs down radius) axillary nerve (inserts shortly after)
